ABOUT US:
We are a multicultural family, living in Switzerland and who love hiking and sightseeing! Simon is French, Marietta is Polish and lived in UK for most of her life. Our son is a toddler who was born in Switzerland.
The focus of this blog is to form an artefact and a journal of our adventures. We work towards teaching our son an active, fun life in the nature from his young age.
The aim is to create, record, manifest a straight forward hiking summary and review of our trips. It is beautiful to take pictures and create a memory, but an album itself does not record or manifest an experience. Documenting a route, its elevation, its interesting facts is a record. Revealing the feelings or given encounters embodies the evidence of manifestation.
Each post about a specific hike has a downloadable GPX file with the route we walked; and a summary PDF sheet, which includes all the key information.
We don't have subscription choices for our blog, but we have an instagram account where we announce new hikes being added to our blog.
